Why Don’t More Schools Around Here Have A Polo Team?

Everyone around me in Wisconsin tells me the schools are failing. This is sad, and it has me thinking about ways to make them good again. Extracurriculars were always a fond time for me. It seemed my school was always bublin over with activities to do. From what I see personally, kids don’t seem to do as much after school anymore, so that may be happening here too. I think a big part of that is lack of Polo Clubs and teams in the high schools.

Polo clubs offer great career opportunities for kids. My kids didn’t want to work there but the kids I saw there were always working hard and smiling while they saw me. One kid told me he worked for a 100 hours that week and received a $500 check at the end of it. He was looking at me really passionately so I could tell he loved the work and was glad to do it.

We have some of best schools in the country and they offer so many activities, even Polo. Again my kids wanted nothing to do it with it, but it was always a great way to socialize and I did enjoy the networking. After stable fees, we’re talking about $5000 per athlete, with what the school can kick in, and the tuition parents pay, it’s a no brainer.
