I admit, I am somewhat biased. I’ve only experienced but a few YC’s on Long Island Sound. I decided to get into it a few years ago on a whim after I bought my schooner. Then I wondered, can I join a yacht club if I have a schooner? Turns out you can after a few additional fees. I also added a motor to the schooner to help get around the club a little easier. I lot of narrow spaces.

Beach Point Club 10/10

The best lemonade and french fries I’ve ever had.

Newport Yacht Club 9/10

What I always imagined a YC to be. The manager doesn’t always address me by name all the time though.

Larchmont 9/10

Beautiful scenery, the price is right, always need to park in the back though.

I look forward to experiencing the yacht clubs of the Midwest.
